CodePath's Role in Claude Corps

Anthropic and CodePath co-design the program strategy. CodePath is the program architect and employer of record, responsible for recruiting, screening, training, and employing every fellow.

CodePath brings nine years of experience preparing engineers for the most competitive technical roles in the country. Anthropic is an AI safety and research company that builds reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems, like Claude.

That infrastructure (curriculum, employer relationships, and training at scale) is what makes Claude Corps work in partnership with Anthropic.

Everything you need to know about Claude Corps

Anyone early in their career with two years or fewer of full-time work experience who is authorized to work in the United States. No minimum education requirement and no technical background required — the bar is a willingness to learn fast and work with AI tools.

Yes. Fellows are full-time W-2 CodePath employees with salary and benefits for the full 12 months of the fellowship.

CodePath is the program architect and employer of record. We recruit and screen fellows, design the AI-native curriculum, manage training throughout the fellowship year, and handle all employment administration.

Yes. Cohort 1 applications are open. Visit the Claude Corps site to apply now. Cohort recruitment is on a rolling basis, apply as soon as you are ready.

No. Claude Corps is open to all eligible early-career applicants through a national application process. CodePath is one of several recruitment pathways, not a prerequisite.

For Cohort 1, host organizations must be an Anthropic nonprofit Enterprise or Team customer. Hosts also need a hybrid or in-person workplace where the Fellow can spend regular time alongside colleagues, a named leadership sponsor and Fellow supervisor, a clear vision for where the Fellow fits into the team, and a commitment to the full 12-month fellowship. Fully remote organizations are welcome to apply but will not receive their Fellow(s) until cohorts beginning in 2027.
