About the Presenter

Kurt MacDonald is a Senior Manager for Machine Learning at ServiceNow. His career so far spans from research labs to startups to large enterprise software companies. Over the last 4 years, as part of ServiceNow’s Advanced Technology Group, his teams have built and shipped AI products that use NLU, classification, and vision models. He focuses on delivering innovative solutions that ServiceNow customers can adopt and deploy successfully. Recently, he has been leading the teams building the ML backend for Document Intelligence. Like almost everyone, he is excited by the surge of creativity around Generative AI. Specifically, as a lifelong language student, the prospect of using LLMs to improve the language learning experience makes him very optimistic about the future of conversation across borders.
